It is here, in this unspoilt corner of paradise, that a courageous woman, bearing the marks of time and experience, has created the vibrant colours of the Fajr Taftacht cooperative.
In our cooperative, each carpet, each hanbel, each handira is much more than just a piece of fabric. They are woven with love, imbued with stories passed down from generation to generation. Each pattern tells a legend, each colour evokes an emotion, and each thread is a testament to the skill of our artisans.
But Fajr Taftacht is also a symbol of resilience, solidarity and women’s empowerment. By providing employment and training opportunities, we are restoring hope and dignity to our community, especially for older women who find a haven here where their skills are valued and respected.
